Turned from English walnut grown in Washington's Methow Valley, the vessel features an interplay of light and dark wood. The vessel sits on a low foot that slightly elevates the form and visually shows off the continuous curve of the exterior.

The best touch on this piece may be the turquoise and copper inlay. This is a visual surprise, a delightful discovery for the viewer. The inlay appears to have grown in the wood as it has been so artfully integrated.
