Ash Salad Bowl

A large ash salad bowl that will make a welcome addition to any dining room table. The bowl is 13-1/2" in diameter and 4-1/2" tall. The bowl rests on a foot, elevating the form slightly above the resting surface to show off it's graceful curve. A band around the rim is carved and dyed to contrast with the light tone of the ash and give the user a tactile grip when picking up the bowl. The wood for this piece comes from a yard tree that grew just outside of Winthrop.
