Alpine Morning

Morning fog lifts, revealing the golden Larch rimming the high elevation lake. It's the last of the blue sky summer days and the first signs of fall.

Alpine Morning is mounted on a birch panel box 36" x 24" x 3/4" and installed in "floating frame" walnut colored wood. Painting is protected by a waterproof varnish and cold wax finish. No glass is needed, making it lightweight and easy to hang.
