Silver Maple Bowl

Footed bowl suitable for display or holding a collection of your treasures. 

This gorgeous piece of figured maple was salvaged from a tree in Chelan, WA. There was a lot of stress in this piece of wood and several defects opened up during drying. In the Japanese ethos of wabi sabi, these imperfections have been stabilized and highlighted with bowtie inlays to show off the beauty of imperfection.
