cherry salad bowl

Extra large cherry salad bowl, turned from a tree that grew near Winthrop, WA. The tree succumbed to an early season frost and the wood was collected to be repurposed as artwork. It is very rare to come across a hardwood of this size in our area.

The exterior of the bowl has been painted with blue and black milk paint. Milk paint is very durable and dates back many thousands of years. It will wear well and age to a beautiful patina.

Approx. size is 16" x 4".
